Harvey Gerstman was honored by throwing out the first pitch at the New York Mets Game

At the New York Mets game on Friday, September 2,  our very own Harvey Gerstman took the pitcher's mound for a special ceremonial first pitch.

"The Lisa Beth Gerstman Foundation helps provide funding for over 300 children with special needs to attend 20 local summer day camps every year. Please welcome Harvey Gerstman a 79-year-old lung cancer survivor who attended Lafayette High School in Brooklyn and played baseball with Fred Wilpon, Sandy Koufax  and Bob Aspromonte. Our ceremonial catcher is Kevin Plawecki."
