Lisa Beth Gerstman Foundation Golf Classic
The Lisa Beth Gerstman Foundation Annual Golf Classic will be held on Monday, October 12, 2026 at the Glen Head Country Club in Glen Head, NY. This special event benefits the Foundation which is dedicated to raising vital funds to help children live fulfilling and rewarding lives. This year, we are proud to honor Steven Lent, Vice President, Merchandising—Hardware at The Home Depot.

Vice President, Merchandising—Hardware
at The Home Depot
Steven Lent is Vice President of Merchandising for The Home Depot’s Hardware Department. He joined The Home Depot in 2006 in Orlando, Florida, as an hourly associate at the Special Services desk. He advanced through store leadership roles including Department Supervisor, Assistant Store Manager, and Store Manager. In 2013, he relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, where he has held merchandising and leadership roles in Cleaning, Tool Storage, the online Brand Advocate organization, and Garden–Landscape before assuming his current role in June 2024. Steven is active in several charitable organizations, including the Lisa Beth Gerstman Foundation, The Home Depot Foundation, Homer Fund, City of Hope, the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, VHL Alliance, and Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing from the State University of New York New Paltz and an MBA in Marketing from Kaplan University.
